Silver Lady:....Although this was only my second Sundance Stove. She was the most wanted, but price, size and application play the dominate roll. Thus the reason for so many models. This Lady was the first American limited production steel stove to break the fifteen hundred dollar level. At the time it was a big bag of bread. I put this lady together in that two hundred sqft I told you about. I hand carved the Grape clusters from wood and applied them to my door pattern ready to cast. At the time I had no pay check or show room let alone a bath room. But with sales going good I moved to a one thousand sqft space. Still no show room yet but I now had a bath room. I'm still at this point doing it all alone. I had not hired my first employee yet, but would soon bloom, it was 24/7 for Ugene. SILVER LADY:.... Five hundred and fifty pounds.. air tight, heats two thousand sqft... forty four inches tall, takes 18 inch logs, all night burn, grape clusters with viewing glass. The three lower convection ports draw in the colder air and reheat it before returning to the room. this is a double wall stove. with a massive amount of radiating surface. This photo was taken in my first dealers show room and was billed in there nationally distributed County Catalog, as the" Rolls Royce of American Woodstoves "....there is still nothing like it. If you are a Mother ....than she is for you.. Ugene . |
