JJerri Lynn This is a photo of my first Sundance Stove but it had three different variations Air tight fire box, 440lb, heats 1500 s/f, fire brick lined, burns 18 in logs, duel baffles, cast plated or solid brass door, spin draft controls and heating plates. I designed and hand carved the Sundance logo from wood then applied it to my aluminum pattern then to match plates ready for casting. The unique shape of the 5/16 steel top was a hand-full I would have to build a top and bottom die to fit a antiquated 35000 lb air over hydraulic press to forge it into it's shape. It worked great and by me building it, I saved 5 grand. Jerri Lynn was my wife. 6/11/09 ......its a sad day Jerri died today..she was amazing..... sweet lady. I will miss her forevere Ugene |
