This afternoon the sun was shining in through the window in my office.” Magic Man" and "Merlin" were lit up the way they were last summer--or was it the summer before?  Anyway, I felt so lucky to have this office with the walls covered with these wonderful paintings!  So I want to thank you again...  It's a WOW that keeps happening over and over!.  Odette

"Fireside chat" was beautiful tonight, the best it's ever been. The sun shone on the calm, patient face of the mother, which was shrouded in modest brown and on the golden, slightly impish face of the child. Shadows of leaves on the trees outside my window played on the wall next to the paintings and "Merlin, "Magic man and "Rainy tears" each got a corner of sunlight. It was quite a show...Odette

Hello Ugene:
It gives me great pleasure spending time, looking at your paintings. I have just gone through all of them on your web site. You have been busy since the last time we met, this is Paul, who proudly owns Circa 37, Red Dove , Hook, Line and Sinker.
I have been admiring 2 pieces in particular. Y and Toy Box.
If I can make room on my wall.
Have a safe and wonderful holiday.
Best Regards,
P & L

Ugene,

I googled  "Sundance Stoves" and found your site.  We purchased
a Silver Lady in 1980-  It was, and still is a wonderful and beautiful
Stove-- Every one with good taste says "Wow" when they see it for the
first time.

Enjoyed reading your bio-  I too have knocked around over the
years-heavy construction, ironworker--  Used to make "Good Karma" looms
and spinning wheels back in the hippy days-  now do mostly custom homes.

I do appreciate fine and creative craftsmanship that is also
highly functional-- The Silver Lady fits that mold.

Peace to you
and Best Wishes

UGENE,

BABY SHARK LOOKS GREAT, HALF UNPACKED TODAY SO AS TO SEE IT. TOMORROW I AM COMPLETELY UN PACKING IT TO CHECK FOR ANY DAMAGE (DON'T EXPECT ANY FROM THE WAY IT WAS PACKED-I HAD TO USE TRASH CANS TO SAVE THE PACKING TO REPACK FOR WINTER STORAGE), AND TO FIGURE OUT HOW I AM GOING TO ANCHOR IT. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY WIFE'S EXPRESSION WHEN SHE SEES IT. I WILL SEND YOU PHOTOS OF THE BEACH HOUSE IN PROGRESS SO YOU CAN GET A FEEL OF WHERE BABY SHARK WILL BE LIVING IN THE FUTURE. ALSO, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT KIND OF WAX YOU USE ON IT FOR ITS CARE. (I ASSUME METAL CLEANERS ARE OUT OF THE QUESTION)

TALK TO YOU SOON

Hi Ugene,         Well that certainly explains why I haven't seen it.  I'm a dump truck driver for a local construction company so I'm pretty much able to find any old Dodges around here.  I used to drive log truck.  Your Steelcraft trailers were the envy when you started producing them.  It looks like Whitlog builds basically the same trailer now.

 Hi Ugene.

It is Kathy S. from the Disability Aging and Veterans Services Office.  I don't know if you remember me or not......  But, I was checking out your web site and admiring all your work..  Ty S. was here along with two other friends and they enjoyed them also.  You do some fantastic work my friend.  I continue to enjoy the two paintings that I bought from you several years ago. Hope all is well with you...  I just wanted to pop in and say Hi and let you know that I admire your talents and the kindness that you have always shown to others..

    Hi Ugene,

I live in Felton, CA (Santa Cruz) and was lucky enough today to purchase
a Sundance Candace from some one in Napa, CA. It is in very nice
condition and I am looking forward to getting it set up (it is still in
the truck as I need some strong help to get it up all of the stairs that
we have into our living room. After I found this add in Craig list on
Saturday, I Googled Sundance Candace and found your web page. I spent
the next 45 minutes reading the whole thing and became convinced that
even though the add for the stove was only one day old, it was surely
gone. Alas, I got lucky.

This particular Candace is black with black doors and did not come with
any legs. It was probably used as an insert. I have a couple of
questions if you have the time to reply. Firstly, do you still have
parts for these stoves such as the doors with different finishes and the
legs and other parts? Secondly, I would like to maybe install gold or
nickel legs that are offered by other manufacturers. I am assuming that
I would have to align and drill new holes in the mating part of the leg
to line up with existing threaded holes in the Candace?

I appreciate all that you have created in your life and bonded with you
while I read your web page. I am a very creative person as well and
creating things is also the most important thing in my life. I hope that
you are doing well. Thank you in advance for any reply.

Mr. McCalligan I am writing you to see if you can direct me getting
parts for our Nellie stove. My Dad purchased this stove back in 1980 and
my Mom just loves it. My Dad has passed on from pneumonia and the stove has seen
 better days.

I would like to fix it for her but the glass is cracked and
the chimney sweep says it needs need bricks inside (heat bearer in stove)
because they are cracked, also the insulation that goes around the door. If
you can point me in the right direction in where to go I would like to get
this fixed for her and all the fond memories growing up, now my kids would be able to enjoy it.

 Thanks for your time

Hello U Gene,

We recently acquired the painting "La Nina" and were curious as to what this painting sold for. It's a beautiful piece and we love to show it off in our home. Many of our guests ask about it and comment on how vibrant it is.

Thank you!

I have a stove with Lisa Marie on it...It has circular glass it the doors. I was wondering when this was built? It has provided much warmth on lot of cold nights.
