UNTITLED:.. A Custom Wood Burning Stove. I was in the testing stage of this custom. I tested for safety. Got all the temperature readings at the sides, bottom, front, top and flue. You need this to tell you how close to a combustible wall you can get. This one was really trick. Glass on three sides of the second level and it was important to keep the glass as clean as possible. With a removable stainless steel ash box and a massive log grate. All kinds of air induction for secondary fuel gas combustion, in both levels.. Natural air convection up the back and out the top front of the stove.. This one I did for two special people, for there new home. After I had come to the house, go to the space where it will for most if not all of its life, I would spend a short time, but enough for me to get the rhythm and rime of the space. Ask what they would like it to do for them. Hoping they would not ask what it might look like ..I wouldn't have know yet. They would have no idea of its look until my installers would arrive to install it, they were always blown away, I would be thrilled....... I was forty-four. it was a blast...Ugene |
